ABOUT THE TEACUP

The design of the cup features some of the most recognisable buildings and structures in the South-West of the city. These include Battersea Power Station, the Victoria and Albert Museum, Wimbledon Windmill, Albert Bridge and the Brixton Academy.

ABOUT THE SAUCER

The saucer shows a meticulously hand-drawn illustrated map of the South-West London area. It features a wealth of places of architectural and cultural interest. These include well known landmarks such as Battersea Power Station and Wimbledon and Brixton windmills.

South-West London is a sporty area. Therefore, it is no surprise that sporting events and venues such as the University Boat Race, Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Association, Craven Cottage and Stamford Bridge figure prominently in this map. In addition, Cally has included a number of famous South-West London residents. Look closely and you will spot The Wombles (of Wimbledon Common fame), the red deer of Richmond Park and, last but by no means least, Brixton’s favourite son, David Bowie.
