FLORA AND FAUNA SIDE PLATE

The new Flora and Fauna Side Plate by House of Cally draws inspiration from the rich variety of wildlife found in and around London. Using traditional ink and nib pen methods, Cally painstakingly drew these intricate illustrations of some of London’s best and lesser known flora and fauna by hand. These fine bone china plates are produced in Stoke-on-Trent, the historical heart of The Potteries. What’s more, for an additional touch of luxury, the rim of the plate has a hand-painted gold gilding finish.

ABOUT THE PLATE

The design on the plate features some of London’s traditional and lesser known flora and fauna. It includes depictions of two relative newcomers to London’s wildlife; the pelicans of St James’s Park and the majestic peacocks of Holland Park. There are also illustrations of quintessentially British flowers: the rose, dog rose and foxgloves. The rim of the plate is finished with an attractive hand-painted gold gilding for an added luxurious touch.

Please note that this is a side plate and not a dining plate.
