FLORA AND FAUNA TEA SET
The new Flora and Fauna Tea Set by House of Cally draws inspiration from the rich variety of wildlife found in and around London. Cally painstakingly drew these intricate illustrations by hand using traditional ink and nib pen methods. This ceramic tea set is made of fine bone china and is produced in Stoke-on-Trent, the historical heart of The Potteries. What’s more, the rim of the cup and saucer are finished with hand-painted gold gilding for an extra touch of luxury. The London Flora and Fauna Tea Set comes packaged in a beautifully detailed cardboard box, making it an ideal gift idea.
ABOUT THE TEACUP
The design on the cup features some of London’s traditional and lesser known fauna, including the colourful rose-ringed parakeets and the spectacular Camberwell Beauty butterfly. In addition, Cally has included depictions of Tower Bridge and the Globe Theatre, two of the most popular attractions in the capital.
ABOUT THE SAUCER
The saucer features illustrations of two of the most surprising residents of London parks; the pelicans of St James’s Park and the majestic peacocks of Holland Park. In contrast, it also features some of the most quintessentially British flowers, the rose, dog rose and foxglove.
